DescriptionEDUCATIONAL HIKING CLASSES Jean Groen and Barbara Morstad will be your instructors. Both are knowledgeable about the plants and animals of the Sonoran Desert. The emphasis of our educational hikes is on learning about the flora and fauna. Since these are field trips, it is necessary to get to the subjects to be studied. Pets and excess camera equipment, such as tripods for taking scenic photos, slow the pace for everyone, so we ask that you bring neither with you on this hike. Obviously, notebooks and cameras with close-up features for shots that will record the subjects discusses and the experiences are encouraged. Class application and indemnity waiver must be signed before each class. Applications are available at the museum gift shop. Venue
