The museum will celebrate the 'Day of the Cowboy' with events starting at 9:00 am to 2:00 pm. includes the Willie Jack and Duane Hannah band (Willie and Kenny tribute) will get you dancing and toe tapping, local authors; Hank Sheffer, Marilyn Natoli, Rosemary Shearer, illustrator and Historian, George Johnston will be signing books, leather crafter Ray Briggs, artist and designer Cherokee Mangus will do sketches and other fun events include water balloon toss, pin the tail on the donkey, sack races, rub on tattoos for the young and older ......
Marilyn Natoli, proprietor of Madam Marilyn's Parlor in the Barn photography studio is in the Apacheland Barn. She has all kinds of western dresses, duds and you'll be able to fulfill your fantasy. Fun Filled Day .... |

Come out and visit our local and some not so local authors and artists. Share your opinions on numerous topics, have your picture taken while they sign their book for you. Marshall Trimble will be a special guest on Sunday, November 2nd from 1:00 pm til 4:00 pm estimated time. This will be a special treat for the museum as well as our patrons. Artists will be selling their photography, gourd art, watercolor and oil paintings so far. Please feel free to call us if you have any questions or would like to participate in this event. |

Free lectures starting January 8th thru March 26. The schedule will be published in the local newspapers and on our website. Each Thursday will be a different speaker from the history of the Dutcham, geology, Cowboys and Ranching, Mining Turquoise and Gold, The Stone Tablets, singing and letting loose. Come out and visit old friends and have fun with the friendly volunteers. Refreshements will be available. |
