Description

Teddy Roosevelt at the Superstition Mountain Museum

On Saturday February 25, 2012 the Superstition Mountain Museum will be dedicating three new monuments constructed in cooperation with SRP to commemorate the Centennial, The Apache Trail, 100 Years, and The Roosevelt Dam, 100 Years.

Part of the monuments are constructed with actual Roosevelt Dam blocks that were removed to remodel and raise the dam.  The monuments have been built at the front of the museum property along the historic Apache Trail.  A beautiful park like area has been created.

Teddy should be arriving around 1:30 for a brief ceremony and monument dedication.  There will be patriotic music, food, and fun.
